Departure from the reception of the Santa Fortunata Village with private transfer to reach the famous archaeological site. This tour will lead you to the discovery of the ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
After arriving at the excavations of Pompeii, you will admire, with a guide, many works that have come to us over the years.
You will recite the moments before the catastrophe that destroyed the whole city. In fact, the city was completely destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius, covered with burning dust. In the years following the eruption, the area was not subject to restocking and, according to some studies, was no longer found, remaining buried for nearly 1700 years.

Then you will reach the archaeological excavations of Herculaneum. Here we have many finds of houses, villas, religious buildings as well as commercial activities.
The Ercolano site, is visited on average by three hundred thousand tourists every year. On the other hand, Pompeii hosts on average three million visitors from all over the world.

Pompeii excavations

Findings after excavations are one of the best testimonies of Roman life. Pompeii is the best preserved city of that time; the recovered finds (frescoes, mosaics, statues and other objects of everyday life) are preserved, for the most part, at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.

Herculaneum Excavations

The archaeological excavations of Herculaneum have restored the remains of the ancient city of Herculaneum, buried under an ash and mud blanket during the 79th Vesuvius eruption.
